Space Wolves Completed

It took me a while, but my latest Space Wolves are complete!  Overall, they're not bad as I attempted a variety of techniques on them.  I guess you could say they were my guinea pigs for painting!  I also spruced up the bases for these a bit, using some cork for stones and the powdery stuff (Army Painter?) for snow.  Up close, they don't look so great as snow, if anyone has any suggestions for the snow I'm open to anything.
Pictures below...

Compared to my first, I think I did better, comments and critiques are definitely welcome!  Next thing I need to learn is how to properly take some good photos and adjust them...

  1. Sabrina, as you are new to the hobby these are brilliant the armour in particular looks good with the battle damage. I would work on skin techniques next and have a go at the eyes. There are loads of great painting blogs with tutorials on to help. My blog is:

    1. Thanks! I'm definitely going to try and work on skin, I'm having trouble trying to get them to really stand out well enough. Eyes are definitely quite a challenge!
I'll definitely check out your blog and look through those tutorials and links. Thanks for following!

  2. Amazing looking! It looks like you are really starting to test the waters and find a solid basis for painting!
I agree, though. Skin and eyes are very difficult and hard to master, there are all sorts of blog posts that describe and explain how to work on them.

These models look great! I especially like the battle damage and the power weapons. The lightning claws look like they were difficult to do!
